Something many women experience during pregnancy is a diminished sense of power and confidence. While growing a human being is nothing short of magical, some of the things that go along with it like swelling and skin blemishes don’t lend a hand to making you feel your best every day. Your maternity session is so much more than just pretty pictures on a screen. From the moment we meet, I want to help you look and feel like the very best version of yourself.
Your maternity session not only documents the beautiful life your body is creating, but celebrates you as the woman you are and mother you are about to become.
Not sure what to wear? Whether you prefer sleek and elegant or glamorous and bedazzling, I have something for you. You’ll be able to choose from over 80 gowns, silks and accessories in my client closet. Serving the Grand Rapids and surrounding Michigan areas, my maternity clients enjoy a luxury experience with a down to earth spirit.

What to expect
Wondering what your maternity session with me looks like? You can expect a warm and personalized experience that’s hard to match
Design Consult – This is our time to meet and talk about your personal style and what you’d like your images to look like. We’ll also discuss things like wardrobe, hair and makeup, and more.
Your Session – Once your date arrives, we will meet at my studio and finalize wardrobe for the session. Then I’ll help guide you through a series of poses that make you look and feel beautiful and confident. You’ll get to experience several different looks during our time together.
After Party – Typically 4-5 days later, we’ll meet again to look at the gorgeous images we took. This is where you will pick the images you would like to order, and what you would like to do with them. You can choose from heirloom products such as wall art, fine art albums, prints and more.
Product Delivery – The best part – your art has arrived! Your images have been fully retouched and any digital images will be sent to you via digital download. You’ll now be able to walk past your wall art each day, or page through your album any time you’d like.
If you’re in your second trimester, now is the perfect time to schedule your session. Between weeks 27-33 are typically ideal for most women, and dates book out 1-2 months in advance.
No need to bring a thing! My clients enjoy a wide selection of wardrobe pieces to choose from for their portraits.
Absolutely. Your partner and children are welcome to join in for several poses, we will talk about coordinating wardrobe during your design consult.
You get to decide! A week or so after your session, we’ll meet to go over the great images we took. This is when you’ll choose which images you’d like to purchase and how you’d like to preserve your memories.
