Many of you knew I wanted to grow the maternity branch of my Ellie B Photography “tree”. After months of preparation, including workshops and new lighting techniques, I’m thrilled to say that I’m now offering studio maternity shoots. These sessions will be all about celebrating you as a woman and mother to be. I remember what it feels like to be pregnant: uncomfortable, swollen, and exhausted. This is our chance to make you feel like the strong, beautiful woman you truly are. Size 2 or 20, short hair or long; you don’t need to come feeling confident and glamorous, but
Every success story is a tale of constant adaption, revision, and change. -Richard Branson Just yesterday I was chatting with a photographer friend, and she asked if I feel like I’ve found my groove. The easy answer that bubbled up was “yes”. When I look back at my work from this time just last year, I feel I’ve grown leaps and bounds. I’ve had a flood of requests for maternity shoots lately, so this seemed like the perfect time to give everyone a look into what to expect. After you book with Ellie B Photography you’ll receive a guide to help prepare for the day, as well as a questionnaire to help me choose the perfect colors and props for your shoot. Most newborn sessions are held within the first two weeks after birth, so I may be one of your first ventures out of the house with your new baby! When you arrive to my in-home studio, I’ll greet you and welcome you downstairs to my studio space. There is a comfortable waiting area with seating and television, and toys for your littles to occupy themselves with.
For me, photographs are so much more than a moment captured on camera—they’re memories. That’s why with every session, I strive to produce beautiful, timeless memories of your family that you can hang on your wall, place on your mantle, or tuck away in your wallet so you can relive them whenever you want.
